Material and Financial Operations Sector

The Material and Financial Operations Sector performs the following activities:

• professional and operational, research and analytical and control activities in connection with the planning of the budget for the Ministry, the judiciary, minor offences organs and institutions for the execution of penitentiary sanctions
• funding and outfitting judicial and minor offences organs
• transferring funds to individual users and controlling their expenditure
• controlling proper collection of court taxes and court costs
• controlling the disposition of resources from the court depository and confiscated objects
• control of the financial operation of the judicial and minor offences organs
• outfitting and investment maintenance of the buildings of judicial and minor offences organs and planning funds for those purposes
• looking after residential housing needs of appointees and staff of judicial and minor offences organs and institutions for the execution of penitentiary sanctions, and other material and financial operation activities
• organising and conducting public procurement procedures for judicial and minor offences organs, inviting and controlling tenders for capital works for the judicial and minor offences organs, organising commission sales of goods confiscated in criminal proceedings, insuring personnel and property of judicial organs, minor offences organs and institutions for the execution of penitentiary sanctions
• control of the material transactions of judicial and minor offences organs
• procurement of fuels for judicial and minor offences organs
• activities relating to contacts with the National Bank of Serbia and commercial banks, control of deposits with judicial organs, coordination with employees of the judiciary in charge of deposits, operational and technical activities for departments
• certification of documentation, control whether public procurements are economically justified and control of procurement procedures
• looking after legality for inviting tenders for the needs of judicial and minor offences organs
• bearing responsibility for proper expenditure of resources and for other activities determined by the competent Assistant Minister.

The Budget Execution Division performs the following activities:

• professional and operational, research and analytical and control activities in connection with the planning of the budget for the Ministry, the judiciary, minor offences organs and institutions for the execution of penitentiary sanctions
• funding and outfitting those organs and institutions
• transferring funds to individual users and control of the expenditure of those resources
• other activities determined by the competent Assistant Minister.

The Investment Maintenance and Procurement Group performs the following activities:

• organising and conducting public procurements for the judiciary and minor offences organs organising
• commission sales of goods confiscated in criminal proceedings
• insuring the employees and property of judicial and minor offences organs and of penitentiary sanctions institutions
• supervising the material operations of the judicial and minor offences organs
• procuring fuels
• monitoring the condition of building facilities housing judicial and minor offences organs
• inviting tenders for capital projects and works
• looking after residential housing needs in the Ministry, the judicial and minor offences organs and penitentiary sanctions institutions.
