LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGIC APPROACH

Today at the conference "Development of e-government in the Republic of Serbia" held in Belgrade at hotel Zira, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, Gordana Stamenić presented the legislative foundation for e-government, current changes of the legal basis and the opportunities that such changes created. Rules of general administrative procedure, rules for provision of electronic services, basic public registries and user identification, public administration reform strategy and action plan were also presented."

Gordana Stamenić pointed out that the strategy of public administration reflected the firm intention of the Government of the Republic of Serbia to transform and modernise the public administration so that it became better organised, more efficient, more transparent and service oriented.
