TO REPEAL THE SUSPENSION

The Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selaković demands from the deputy warden of the Penitentiary Niš to, without delay, repeal the decision on suspension of Valentina Krstić.

Valentina Krstić, who was suspended yesterday from the position of the Head of the Department for Commercial Affairs at the Penitentiary Niš, was assigned the status of whistleblower by the Anti-Corruption Agency.

The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration demands all  necessary procedures to be conducted in accordance with the law, which would determine the responsibility for illegal actions in the Penitentiary Niš.

The Ministry points out that this is the first time in 13 years that an internal audit of operation of this penitentiary was conducted .  Also, the Ministry will forward to the competent state authorities all relevant evidence and acquired information on illegal actions in the Penitentiary Niš.
